BRIDGE stands for Building Resources in Democracy, Governance and Elections. It is a modular professional development
program with a particular focus on electoral processes. BRIDGE represents a unique initiative where five leading

Election Commission of Pakistan, in assistance with IFES intends to conduct a two days BRDIGE workshop on Gender and Election Module from the platform of Federal Election Academy from 24th to 25th March, 2017. Mid-career officers of Election Commission of Pakistan are the target audience and the objective is to sensitize EMB officials for being gender friendly, apropos of electoral calendar. Needless to mention that oriental societies require persistent efforts for gender mainstreaming in all walks of professional life, in general and in electoral arena, in particular. The Module aims at creating conducive atmosphere for gender balance in the field of elections hence, a customized version is being used in order to cater the needs of host organization. It is also pertinent to mention that this workshop is the second one for the first customized Gender and Election BRIDGE Module in Pakistan.
