The International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) Libya will conduct a Building Resources in Democracy, Governance and Elections (BRIDGE) workshop on Disability Rights, Media, and Elections for journalists from across Libya. The aim of the workshop is to develop the capacities of the participating journalists to carry out inclusive coverage of electoral and political processes, identify barriers to inclusion of persons with disabilities in public life, and identify strategies to engage them as voters, candidates, observers, and election officials. The module's main objective is to explore the role of journalists in amplifying voices of men and women with disabilities to ensure access to their rights throughout the electoral cycle. The training is supported by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Disability Fund, and will be conducted in Hammamet, Tunisia, on April 18-21, 2017
