This BRIDGE workshop on Boundary Delimitation Module has been arranged by Federal Election Academy in collaboration with UNDP Pakistan for Grade 18 Officers (District Election Commissioners / Deputy Directors) of Election Commission of Pakistan. This workshop will be part of 6th Electoral Management Course (EMC) being held at Federal Election Academy, Islamabad. This Module will help the participants understand the new legal framework for Boundary Delimitation in Pakistan and procedure as to how boundary delimitation is carried out. The Module has been customized according to local needs while international best practices with regard to boundary delimitation along with case studies will be important part of the Module. After culmination of 6th Population Census in June, 2017 in Pakistan, this Module has got much significance as it is the constitutional requirement to allocate seats in the National Assembly in accordance with the last preceding census officially published. Hence, fresh boundary delimitation is likely to be carried out in near future after the census data is officially published.
