BRIDGE Rule #1: All BRIDGE activities must be approved by the BRIDGE Partners. Approval is obtained through the BRIDGE Office. Therefore BRIDGE implementers must advise the BRIDGE Office as soon as they can legitimately do so, of forthcoming BRIDGE activities.

Train-the-Facilitator (TtF) Workshop in New Delhi, India

The TtF is a cooperation between BRIDGE partner, International IDEA and its long-standing partner, the Indian International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Management (IIIDEM). It will take place over two weeks, 16-27 September 2019, in IIIDEM’s premises in Dwarka, New Delhi, India. This is will be the first TtF ever organised in India – a country with almost 1 billion voters. Most of the participants will be Election Commission of India’s National Master Trainers, but there will be a few sponsored by BRIDGE partners, too.

The Election Commission of India through its international relations and capacity development arm, the Indian International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Management (IIIDEM) intends on initiating the process in which its trainers can be come BRIDGE-accredited facilitators, thus allowing IIIDEM to organise BRIDGE workshops in the future.
