The AEC is responsible for conducting federal elections and referendums and maintaining the Commonwealth electoral roll. The AEC also provides a range of electoral information and education programs and activities. The BRIDGE office is based in the Australian Capital Territory (Canberra) in the Australian Electoral Commission National Office.

IFES is an independent, non-governmental organization providing professional support to electoral democracy. Through field work, applied research and advocacy, They promote citizen participation, transparency, and accountability in political and civil society.
International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance- IDEA
IDEA is an intergovernmental organization that supports sustainable democracy worldwide. Its objective is to support sustainable democratic change by providing comparative knowledge, assisting in democratic reforms and influencing policies and politics. It aims to strengthen democratic institutions and processes. IDEA is one of the founding partners of the ACE project as is currently hosting the ACE Interim Secretariat.
United Nations Electoral Assistance Division- UNEAD
The UNEAD is a division of the UN Department of Political Affairs (UNDPA). Elections have been a component of decolonization, democratic transitions, and the implementation of peace accords in countries around the globe, and the United Nations has played a major role in providing assistance for these important processes of change. In the days of decolonization, the UN supervised and observed plebiscites and referenda leading to the creation of new independent states; today, the efforts of the Organization are increasingly focused on providing technical assistance to help Member States build credible and sustainable national election systems.
