The two writers were chosen by the BRIDGE Coordination team based in Melbourne, Australia.
BRIDGE is a project which is being implemented worldwide. The BRIDGE partners are the United Nations Electoral Assistance Division, the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance and the Australian Electoral Commission.
Francis Iro, one of the two Provincial Team Coordinators from Central Province has been contracted by the Australian Electoral Commission to deliver a range of BRIDGE courses to the Papua New Guinea Electoral Commission, throughout the month of March.
Mr Iro was one of the key senior Facilitators used to train his CEP colleagues. Mr Iro will be working with an international team of Facilitators to train and accredit PNG Electoral Commission staff. Mr Iro will be working in Port Moresby, Madang and Mt Hagan.
The Director of the CEP, Alistair Legge said "the selection of Audrey, Tina and Francis demonstrates that Solomon Islanders have the ability to compete with the very best in the world in their chosen field. All three have been instrumental in the success of the CEP. I am excited to see what they and others who have worked on the project will do next".
