A New Batch of Level One Facilitators

While co-facilitating the Introduction module in Washington DC in April for an audience of IFES staff, USAID staff and some post-graduate students from Georgetown University, Skye Christensen from IFES was able to act as accrediting facilitator for two of his colleagues and, in doing so move to Level One on the facilitators rankings. Skye is an excellent facilitator and will be a great BRIDGE resource for IFES.

And in co-facilitating a TTF in Melbourne in May, Brian Latham and Cate Thompson of the Australian Electoral Commission have move to Level One status. Cate and Brian have extensive BRIDGE experience and are both facilitators of exceptional skill.

More Facilitators Fully Accredited

As well as our new batch of level One facilitators, several facilitators have completed the second half of their accreditation process in the past months. Zeinab Abdelkarim and Liz Reiter from the IFES Washington Office completed their accreditation while co-facilitating the Introduction Module in Washington in April. IFES Chief of party in Jordan, Hermann Thiel, Rasha Tami, UN Jordan and Ambar Zobairi from IFES Washington all finished their accreditation while co-facilitating the Introductory Module conducted for Jordanian Ministry of Interior staff in Aqaba, Jordan in April.
 

Dominic Khame also completed his accreditation by co-facilitating a BRIDGE training for staff of the Botswana IEC. His lead facilitator, Rushdi Nackerdien, said. “Dominic proved a real star during the training, running the training for his colleagues with a great relaxed approach, as well as managing the expectations from top management.”

All of the facilitators mentioned will be a wonderful resource for their respective organisations and to the BRIDGE Project in general. Congratulations to them all and welcome to the ever-expanding database of BRIDGE facilitators.
